Introducing the latest Spaceflow platform features and updates that make operations seamless and deliver next-level tenant experiences in buildings.
2024 was a great year for Spaceflow, with brand new integrations built into our ever-expanding ecosystem, feature updates to enhance the tenant experience, and new features launched to empower property managers to efficiently manage operations, community, and the customer experience in the building. Let’s dive in.
The user experience of the Spaceflow app is a huge piece of the tenant experience puzzle. Tenants and visitors interact with the app multiple times every day, through which they interact with the property brand and with the building’s community, smart features, and amenities.
With that in mind, we made some big changes to make the user experience even better.
In-app payments is a highly requested and much anticipated addition to the Spaceflow platform that upgrades the way tenants interact with Vendors & Services in the app.
Now available through Spaceflow’s Digital Operations solution, Payments makes it possible for tenants to pay for add-ons or services directly in the app for a faster, more seamless experience without any staff involvement.
Thanks to this feature, property managers can manage payment links in the Admin Console and automate cross-sell and upsell options to save time and boost revenue.
🔸 Offer one-time-purchase services
🔸 Offer subscription-based services
We made some exciting updates to the Visitor Management module to make it easier than ever to welcome visitors to the building with seamless access.
Through our integration with Suprema, visitors can receive a QR code that provides them with pre-defined access rights that enables them to open doors with their phone. Completely hands free mobile access management for building visitors.
Want to make sure visitors are receiving the relevant info they need to enjoy their experience in the building? Now it’s possible to customize the email copy to include wifi, indoor navigation, or other important information.
It’s also possible to invite visitors directly from the Spaceflow Admin Console, and to see and download visitor QR codes.
To better equip space managers, we've introduced a new Visitors Dashboard packed with useful metrics such as number of visits, number of unique visitors, and most active days/times for visitors to the building.
Spaceflow's Analytics dashboards stand out for their user-friendly design and robust capabilities, engineered to ensure that every stakeholder—from property owners and operators to community managers and facility teams—can access the data most relevant to their roles.
That’s why we’ve added new dashboards and updated existing ones to make sure the right data are accessible.
User Engagement Dashboard: To better understand user behavior, we replaced the number of interactions or screen views with total engagement time spent in the app as the main metric in most charts. In the 'Usage by Weekday/Hour of the Day' chart, the main metric was changed to the total number of users.
Due to overall improvements in the datasets for greater accuracy, the total number of views and interactions now differs from the previous version, even though the development over time remains almost the same.
Updated Space & Portfolio Dashboards: here you can now find an updated Monthly Active Users calculation that no longer includes deactivated accounts. MAU is now calculated every day rather than once per month to show active users in the last 30 days, and Weekly Active Users is now visible as well.
We’ve added a brand new metric, User Stickiness, to show how many users were active in the last seven days compared to the total MAU. This gives a better understanding of how much users are engaging with the app.
Amenity Utilization: with this new metric in the Space Dashboard, you can see the three busiest and the 3 least busy amenities to optimize your offerings for tenants, as well as track overall amenity usage.
On a portfolio-wide level, you can view the five spaces with the most-used amenities and the five spaces with the lowest amenity usage.
We introduced several new integrations in the last half of the year, in keeping with our goal of expanding the proptech ecosystem and connecting suppliers to create the ideal tech stack for each client.
Secom for Mobile Access: Secom provides state-of-the-art security solutions for residential and commercial properties. With this integration, new Spaceflow app users in properties that use Secom are seamlessly added to the security system with automatic access rights predefined.
In the Spaceflow app, users can view all the doors they have access to and unlock each with one swipe. Coming soon, users will get temporary access rights based on their bookings.
FLEXIPASS for Mobile Access: This integration makes it a breeze to seamlessly open doors via smartphone. With the FLEXIPASS mobile keys integration, people have easy access to their building for living or working with a tap of their phone.
ZetaDisplay for digital signage: This integration plays a major role in encouraging adoption of the Spaceflow tenant app. By displaying the latest Newsfeed posts, Events, and other Community features in the common areas where people live and work, clients saw an increase in both adoption and engagement.
Stripe for in-app payments: This integration powers payments within the Spaceflow app, enabling a seamless experience for users when booking services and amenities and maximizing upsell opportunities for property managers.
The progress never stops here at Spaceflow, we have more exciting updates on the roadmap for the first quarter of 2025! New integrations to round out the perfect tech stack, and new features such as inviting users from the app and managing vendors across assets.
